so the groom to be has put it out there that he thinks my choice of wedding color is MESSED UP!
MOI! picking a messed up color scheme! you gotta be kidding me, i can see this is going to be a source of contention...le sigh! he wants to go with champagnes and AMBERS and ivories...but I think AMBER is a messed up color, so HA!
but that doesn't solve our problem...ugh...what now? it's his wedding too, should we decide on a scheme we both like? or should i push for what i want? because seriously all the girls think its great and love it, but the guys think its weird, odd, messed up, interesting anything but great with the exception of the flowerboy :-(

Well...first of all..you cannot please everyone...as a bride you HAVE to come to that acception. So, sometimes you have to just make decisions regardless of what others think. Typically the bride will remember the details more than the guy AND the bride should not be tampered with because truly this is the biggest event a girl will ever plan. BUT why turn into bridezilla...I mean...it is JUST a color scheme...save the relationship and come up with a compromise...NOTHING, not one single detail, is so important to get bent out of shape over - so, if POSSIBLE, I say...try to let go and compromise. Working through the wedding planning is going to be GREAT for your future. [hope that wasn't preachy!] --FK
